20 December 2020 Ōpōtiki Christmas in the Park & Parade
11am – 4pm Memorial Park FREE
Tis the season to be jolly Ōpōtiki, come out and celebrate Christmas with the community. Checkout the floats on parade, there will be food, fun and entertainment for everyone. 11am - Float Parade down Hana Kōkō Lane 11.30am - Food Market & Stalls Open 11.45am - Santa Arrives 12pm - Christmas in the Park Begins

8am – 2pm State Highway 35 Maraenui $15 per entry
Tickets can be purchased from Ōpōtiki Bait & Tackle or at the beach on the day. Weigh in is at 2pm, there will be food and drink available for purchase on the day.

28 December 2020 Scar Logging Ōpōtiki Rodeo
9am onwards Northern end of St John St, Ōpōtiki Rodeo Grounds Adult $20 , Secondary Students $10, Family $45 (2 adults 2 Primary aged children) Under 5s FREE
The Ōpōtiki Rodeo, sponsored by Scar Logging, features spectacular horse and Western type events, attracting around 150 competitors. There are amusements, food and drink stands, and clothing and tack (saddlery) for purchase.

Register your team of 3-4 people on the day!! Head out to the Ōpōtiki Surf Lifesaving Club for some fun friendly competition. Half a Beast at Least – Golf Tournament
11am Ōpōtiki Golf Club $25 Entry Fee
The Ōpōtiki Golf Clubs New Year holiday competition. This is an 18-hole stable-ford competition for all handicaps, and all ages. Also a non-handicap division for non-affiliated golfers. Kindly sponsored by The Reeve Family. Entries payable on the day are $25. Entries from 11am and tee off at 12. Prizes for best Stable fords, closest to pins and twos. Novelty challenge on the par three, no 6 (The Donga). On-course BBQ. After match refreshments in the Club House.
