Mayors Taskforce for Jobs not continuing

Over the past 6 years, Mayors Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ) has been on a mission to support our incredible local rangatahi into employment, training, and licensing.

We've helped 302 people land sustainable jobs, including 60 apprenticeships! Plus, 444 people have aced their class 1 learner, restricted, full, or defensive driving courses. 🚗💼 We're super proud of what we've achieved together!

However, we have some news: Ōpōtiki District Council won't be participating in the MTFJ programme this financial year. 😔

A massive shoutout to all the employers, community groups, and service providers who partnered with us – and especially to the rangatahi who gave it their all. You rock! 🌟

While the programme is wrapping up, the support for employment and training isn't going anywhere. You can still access awesome services like:
